Google Alerts: A Massive Time Saver

You don't have to spend all day surfing to find new content on the web. Instead, just set up a Google alert, or multiple alerts and let their friendly little Googlebot send you new information on competitors, industry news, clients and whatever else you want to keep track of.

How To Set Up Google Alerts

Head on over to the Google Alerts page, add a search term and preview the results. If all looks good and it's returning the results you want, just choose how often you want the alert sent, add your email and click create alert.

We love time saving tech and this is about as simple and effective as it gets. If you really want to go the extra mile, sign up for a Google Account, add Google Reader and have the alerts fed straight into your feed.
